As a C-suite executive and independent corporate director, Patricia has been fortunate throughout her career to work with and help shape some of the world's premier brands in fashion, beauty and retail. As a Senior Operating Partner with Avalon, she leverages her operating expertise to assist early-stage enterprises with market development guidance, pre-funding strategies, and sourcing capital. In addition, she is the founder and managing partner of Hudson River Partners, LLC, a New York-based advisory and real estate investment firm which provides strategic M&A advisory services. In her most recent corporate assignment, she served as President of A&H Worldwide, a global leader in package design and manufacturing. Previously held positions include: President of Tommy Hilfiger Women's Sportswear USA; CEO of Victoria + Co, a division of The Jones Group; and various leadership roles in product development, marketing and sales with Avon, IBM and Hambrecht Terrell International, a retail architectural firm.
Ms. Stensrud currently serves on the board of directors for Crown Crafts Inc. (CRWS Nasdaq) where she is a member of the Audit, Compensation and Capital committees. From 2011-2016 she served on the board of directors for Christopher Banks Corporation (CBK NYSE) where she was a member of the Audit and Governance committees. She is recognized as an NACD Board Leadership Fellow.
As an active community supporter, Patricia is Board Chair emeritus for the Girl Scouts Council of Greater New York and has served on the boards of Junior Achievement New York, the Center for Business Women's Leadership (Washington, D.C.), the Preservation Society of Newport County (R.I.), and the Hudsonia Institute (biodiversity research for the greater Hudson Valley region).
Subsequent to studying opera at the Eastman School of Music, Ms. Stensrud graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree, and also an MBA from Golden Gate University in San Francisco where in 2011 she was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Humane Letters degree in recognition of “continuing significant career achievements and lay leadership contributions to non-profit organizations
